I’ve worked with many radio and TV personalities and have been interviewed many times. Charlotte Spicer is right near the top of my “best of” list. She has a lively personality that keeps both the listening audience and the person she is interviewing on their toes and engaged. The old phrase “never a dull moment” could have been invented while describing her. She knows the exact amount of intelligent questioning to do and poignant comment to make in order to keep the flow going without running over.

Charlotte’s discernment and commitment to her life’s work shines through in everything she does! The day I was a guest on Charlotte Spicer’s show, my book was hovering in the mid 80s on Amazon’s Top 100 List. By early evening, EVERYDAY ORACLES had moved to Number 20. Before I went to bed it had moved to Number 10!!! I checked a sales graph to zero in on the specific time the sales began to spike; the dramatic increase in sales occurred while we were on the air.

The following day I read this quote by Peter Drucker and immediately thought of Charlotte and her large audience that tunes in to her show for Spiritual Insight: “Effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; leadership is defined by results, not attributes.”

Charlotte’s professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for the information she shares is unmatched. She immerses herself in each book and is highly skilled in the way she presents the information to her listeners. You interviewed me on your radio show on May 6, 2014, the day after my birthday. I was very excited speaking with you about my book, Breaking Down the Walls. I wrote this book to inspire my family and leave them a legacy.

I am no stranger to television and radio and you were the most impressive interviewer ever. You read my book first and prepared your questions so that your audience could understand what my life was like as the first woman to walk the floor of the New York Stock Exchange in 1962 and how I succeeded with perseverance. I managed to get equal pay, a bank account and a credit card. These were not available to women at that time. I truly broke down the walls of prejudice against women.

Prior to the interview, I was a bit curious as to exactly how we would combine what we learn through sports with the bigger picture…the mission of being happy. During the show, Charlotte—who was incredible—really instilled in me a feeling of inspiration. After the show, I felt as if I had learned more than I had given.

Charlotte especially enlightened me in regards to the story of San Francisco 49er and Philadelphia Eagle running back and punt returner Brian Westbrook. I found it fascinating that she could explain how running backs like Brian, Barry Sanders and LaDainian Tomlinson could see or feel some presence around them on the field by way of the third eye.
